Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including experience in landscape maintenance, construction, and horticulture. This role requires a hands-on approach to various tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. The Skilled Labourer will work with a variety of tools and machinery, contributing to both outdoor and indoor projects.

Responsibilities

Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assist with excavation work using excavators and other machinery. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for plants. Support construction activities by preparing sites, mixing materials, and assisting tradespeople. Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues. Familiarity with operating excavators and other heavy machinery is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Previous experience in construction or horticulture will be beneficial. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
