Your Role
As a Skilled Operative, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues to deliver essential infrastructure improvements. From kerbing and drainage to traffic management and emergency callouts, your skills will help keep North Yorkshire moving.
This role involves participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota for emergencies and winter maintenance activities.

Banksman
Manual Handling
Abrasive wheels
Emergency First Aid
Safe Dig
Traffic Management TM1 and TM2
Relevant Level 2 qualification in highway maintenance, or relevant work experience
Hold a HGV Driving License
City and Guilds Winter 6159 certification for driving and operating gritters or willingness to undertake training
