We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and heritage buildings.
Responsibilities
Install roofing systems including shingles, tiles, slate and metal roofing materials.
Perform repairs on existing roofs, ensuring proper sealing and waterproofing.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various roofing tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Skills
NVQ and CSCS an advantage but not essential.
Experience in all aspects of roofing but mostly slating, tiling and lead work.
Pay will depend on qualifications and experience.
Experience with hand tools, and power tools
Strong background in roofing techniques and materials.
Knowledge of construction site safety protocols.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
