An excellent and rewarding opportunity has arisen to join our growing operation which forms part of a grower group dedicated to supplying onions to our packhouse in South Lincolnshire. We are seeking an experienced and ambitious tractor driver to drill and harvest onion crops across East Anglia. In addition, we operate a fleet of HGV's and the ability to drive Class 1 vehicles will be beneficial, although training can be offered to the successful candidate.

Qualifications



Tractor Driver (1 year minimum required) PA1 & 2 preferred but not essential Previous experience is an advantage UK Driving License HGV Class 1 Licence (advantage) Counterbalance and Telehandler (required)

Job Role



As a tractor driver you will be supporting the farm manager with day to day duties. Duties to include operating a tractor to drill and harvest onion crops, use of RTK satellite equipment, counterbalance and telehandler. Operating triple bed Ecorobotix camera sprayer. Supporting other farm requirements when required. Transporting bulk fresh produce between our Long Sutton base and various suppliers and customers. Perform duties in a safe and legal manner and in compliance with EU and GB regulations. Carry out start and end of shift vehicle checks.

Duties may change from time to time in accordance with the changing needs of the company. You will be expected to carry such duties out as normal. If there is any significant change, this will be discussed and agreed with you and may be included in a revised edition of the , otherwise more minor changes may be discussed with you at the time of your performance review. If there are any other changes to employment terms and conditions, such as changes to pay or hours, then these will be notified in writing.
