Job Description

We are looking for an experienced General Builder with strong multi-trade skills to join our growing team. The role involves a wide range of construction works, including structural alterations and steel installation, across residential and small commercial projects.



Key Responsibilities



General building works including brickwork, blockwork and groundwork Structural alterations, including forming structural openings Installation of steel beams (RSJs) in accordance with drawings and method statements Carpentry works (1st and 2nd fix) Basic plastering, rendering, and finishing works Reading and working from drawings and specifications Ensuring work is carried out safely and to a high standard Liaising professionally with clients and other trades on site

Essential Requirements



Proven experience as a general builder across multiple trades Demonstrable experience with structural openings and steel insertion Good understanding of structural drawings and temporary works Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence Own tools preferred

Desirable (but not essential)



NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent construction qualifications Experience working on extensions, renovations, and refurbishments
