Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Wood Machinist / Furniture Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting parts and assembling furniture with precision and attention to detail. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting. Experience in carpentry is essential.
Responsibilities
- Be able to cut and shape wood, using tools, for use in the manufacturing of furniture.
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Fabricate parts and materials for assembly, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of assembled products for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as necessary during the assembly process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 14.00 per hour
