Overview

We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and professional Skin Therapist to join our nurse-led medical aesthetics clinic. This role is ideal for a therapist with a strong foundation in advanced skin treatments who is confident working autonomously, values clinical standards, and is passionate about long-term skin health and patient outcomes.

You will play a key role in delivering personalised skin treatments, supporting patient retention, and contributing to the continued growth of the clinic.

Responsibilities

Develop professional relationships with patients, gaining trust Deliver customised skin treatments tailored to individual patient needs, including advanced facials, peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, and corrective skincare programmes Conduct comprehensive skin consultations using Observ skin analysis, creating evidence-based treatment and homecare plans Confidently work with Obagi Medical skincare, providing patient education and product guidance (training will be provided) Perform treatments using laser and energy-based devices such as Moprheus8 Burst and Lumecca Peak (where trained and competent) Perform treatments with Demalux LED Accurately record consultations, treatments, and outcomes using the clinic CRM system Proactively rebook patients, cross-sell appropriate skin packages and subscription programmes, and support long-term treatment plans Deliver consistently high standards of patient care and customer service, ensuring patients feel listened to, valued, and confident Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant treatment environment, adhering to infection control and clinic SOPs Work independently and manage your clinic time effectively, while collaborating with the wider medical team Contribute ideas, skills, and new approaches that support clinic growth and service development Demonstrate ongoing awareness of current skincare products, technologies, and evidence-based techniques, applying learning to improve service quality and patient outcomes.
Requirements

Qualification in beauty therapy Level 3 minimum Experience working with medical-grade skincare, ideally Obagi Medical Experience using Observ skin analysis or similar diagnostic technology Experience delivering laser or device-based treatments Confidence using a CRM system for patient records, booking, and follow-up Strong consultation and communication skills Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of patient journeys Professional, organised, and detail-focused
Desirable Attributes

Commercial awareness with a patient-centred approach to rebooking and cross-selling Previous experience in a medical-led or regulated clinic environment Willingness to bring new skills, techniques, or ideas to the clinic
