Opportunity: Skin Therapist - SO Aesthetics

We are looking for a passionate and skilled

Skin Therapist

to join our growing aesthetics team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who is dedicated to delivering outstanding results and exceptional client care.

Requirements:

Minimum

NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent)

in Aesthetics/Beauty Therapy. Proven background in

advanced skin and/or laser treatments

. Experience and confidence in performing advanced skin procedures:

Hydrafacials

Microneedling

Laser Hair Removal

Chemical Peels

IPL Skin Laser

Desirable skills/knowledge:

Level 5 in Aesthetics/Beauty Therapy

. Familiarity with medical-grade skincare such as

Obagi

and

ZO Skin Health

. Strong consultation skills, with the ability to recommend tailored treatment plans. A professional, client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.

Hours & Schedule:

Part-time position

. Hours to include

one-two evening shifts

and

weekend work. Between 18-24 hours

Clinic is open

Monday to Saturday with late-night appointments

Responsibilities:

Conduct consultations to assess clients' skin conditions and discuss their needs and concerns. Develop personalised treatment plans based on the assessments. Perform a variety of aesthetic treatments such as skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, chemical peels, advanced skin treatments like microneedling, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy, and other non-surgical procedures. Provide post-treatment care and recommendations to ensure clients achieve the best results. Recommend skincare products and routines tailored to individual clients' needs. Educate clients on maintaining their skin health and enhancing the effects of treatments. Operate and maintain aesthetic equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain the treatment area clean and disinfected before and after each treatment. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction. Address any concerns or complaints professionally and effectively. High level of precision and attention to detail in performing treatments. Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times. Flexibility to adapt to new techniques, technologies, and treatments. Willingness to continuously update skills through training and education.
