To support the growth of the company we are looking for HGV Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver
You are someone that is reliable who pays attention to detail during vehicle checks and job tasks and follows instructions carefully. You have a proactive approach that prioritises safety and quality. You will ensure you play your part in upholding our company standards. You are not someone who likes to shy away from hard work.
A typical day will start at 6:00 or 6:30 AM and will finish around 4:00 or 4:30 PM.
You will be responsible for completing your daily checks at the start of your shift, after which you will deliver and collect skips across Bristol, Bath, Newport, and other nearby areas using 12-ton and 18-ton vehicles.
You will work closely with the planning teams. This role is typically Monday to Friday; however, overtime and Saturday work are available.
The successful candidate will have:
a full Driving Licence with Class C entitlement
a digital Tachograph
a good understanding of Tachograph rules and driving hours
good knowledge of the highway code
a full CPC
