Mackenzie Fit are recruiting for qualified and competent Skip Welder to join our well established waste management client. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, fixing, and welding a variety of skips and machines within our facilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background and leadership qualities to contribute to the smooth operation of our operations. The Welder will play a vital role in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency across all departments. Hours of work 6pm to 6am 4/5 days out of 7. Weekends included, opportunities for overtime.

Duties

Working on the plant that requires welding maintenance Liaising and reporting to workshop mechanic / site manager / night shift supervisor General maintenance and repair of machinery Complete daily job sheet Using variety of specialist equipment and tools Liaising with site management with regards to required repairs and parts ordering Other duties within your competency

Skills required

Technical skills, welding Experience in Waste & Recycling/Skip Welding would be an advantage Good communicative English Able to work as a part of team Punctual, Flexible and Reliable
