Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team in a nursery setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to early childhood education.

Duties

Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as safeguarding policies. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication. Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs. Manage staff schedules and support training initiatives to enhance team performance. Drive initiatives that promote a positive learning environment and encourage children's growth. Address any concerns or issues that arise within the nursery promptly and professionally.

Experience

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A background in working with children is highly desirable. Knowledge of nursery operations and best practices in childcare is an advantage. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and fostering their learning experiences.
