Flower Pots Day Nursery is excited to be recruiting a qualified Deputy Manager (Level 3 or above) to join our friendly team at our newest setting in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead.

This is a

full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all children at all times. Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting, in line with company policies and procedures. Promote and model best practice throughout all rooms. Monitor and maintain nursery occupancy levels and ensure staffing ratios are met. Observe, assess, and record children's development, planning age-appropriate activities accordingly. Maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment. Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and team members. Lead and motivate your room team to uphold high standards of care and education. Ensure compliance with all nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements:

A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within an early years setting A clean enhanced DBS check (to be obtained by us upon successful appointment)
