Overview

We are seeking a Fully skilled Sliding Head Programme Machine Operator (Full Time) to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the fastener industry with a solid understanding of mechanical principles. You will play a crucial role in a busy production department, ensuring that all components are accurately manufactured and meet relevant quality standards.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Citizen L32 Sliding Head Machines Adjust machine tool settings and tooling when required Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure optimal performance Work with various types metal including exotic alloys to create precise components according to specifications Maintain tooling and equipment in good working condition Apply basic math skills to measure and calculate dimensions accurately Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality standards

Requirements

Experience with fastener industry and exotic materials strongly desired. Suitable Industry recognised qualifications in thread rolling setting/operating or a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar engineering environment at a comparable level. Experience in measurements with micrometre and thread gauge.

Pay: 18.00-22.00 per hour
