Join our family-run business in the picturesque village of West Bradford, just a short distance from Clitheroe. Established in 1989, we've grown into a successful, international business while staying true to our roots in the agricultural community.
Run by founder Willie and his son Will, and our down-to-earth, family-friendly culture is at the heart of everything we do.
We're the original designers of the iconic Longhorn 12v shearing machine and cover the full process from design and manufacture to global sales. As we continue to grow, we are looking for new team members to join our passionate and dedicated engineering team.
This is a dynamic role where you won't experience two days alike. If you are adaptable, enthusiastic, and keen to get the job done, you will thrive here.
We have opportunities for skilled individuals in both milling and turning. For the right candidate, this role offers the chance to get involved in both disciplines, as well as CNC grinding and manual machining.

Programming parts in Autodesk Fusion 360 and assisting with the development and machining strategies for both new and existing products.
Operating & Setting:
Using modern Doosan and Mazak lathes with live tooling and sub-spindles, as well as Doosan 3 and 5 axis mills with Fanuc and Siemens controls.
Quality Control:
Ensuring all components meet specifications by interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances.
Tool Management:
Planning jobs in advance to check for tooling requirements and ensuring setups are correct and efficient.
Problem-Solving:
Aiding in design improvements and troubleshooting machining processes.
Maintenance:
Performing routine maintenance to keep our advanced machines in top condition.
Record-Keeping:
Accurately recording information in job sheets.

A self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with strong organisational skills.
A proactive, 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality products.
Desirable Skills
Experience in turning and milling although we would consider candidates to just do one discipline.
Manual or CNC grinding experience.
Experience with manual lathes and mills.
Experience using manual or CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM's)
