Dayshift 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday.Pay:
12.50 per hour.Do you have previous experience of operating machines within a manufacturing environment ?
If so, you will be joining a well established and friendly team who are based in Desborough.
Povoas packaging are recruiting for a slitter operator who is looking to learn new skills, develop their career and to progress within a company. Experience is not essential as full, ongoing training will be given for this role.
Main duties:
Operating the slitter machine, ensuring production quantity requirements are met and products are made to a high standard in a timely manner. Ensuring the smooth running of the slitter. Ensure the product is packaged and labelled in line with the job instructions. Health and Safety policy is followed along with other company policies. General housekeeping following the companies clean as you go policy and ensure BRC standards of cleanliness is always maintained around your working areas. Report any machinery issues to the production manager. May also be required to assist in another dept.
