We are seeking a skilled and reliable Manual Lathe and Milling Machine Operator to join our precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manual machinery, producing high-quality components to exacting tolerances, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.

Role and Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain manual lathes and milling machines Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances and engineering specifications Inspect and verify parts using measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents Maintain equipment and tools in good working order Follow all safety procedures and promote safe working practices in the workshop

Candidate Details

We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:

Proven experience operating manual lathes and milling machines Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining principles Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Working Hours

Full time - 39 hours per week Immediate start available
