Job Overview

We are seeking a plastic and paper slitter and packer previous experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, and producing customer orders. Work can be physical and a keen eye for detail is required. Person must be computer literate to book stock and orders into a inventory system. person needs to be flexible with start and finish times (day work)

Duties

Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, slitting machines and packing lines Safe use of hoists for placing material in position (Training provide Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on machinery to ensure optimal operation. Handle materials safely including loading, unloading, and storage. Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements, tolerances, and quality checks during production. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Slitting experience preferred but not essential . Able to carry out physical tasks. Mechanically minded Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to machining processes.

Pay: From 13.09 per hour
