Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engine equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor power tools. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a passion for working with machinery.

Duties

Diagnose mechanical issues in small engine equipment and perform necessary repairs. Conduct routine maintenance on engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and spark plug checks. Assemble and disassemble small engine components as required for repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in good working condition and are properly stored after use. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and maintenance recommendations. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in small engine technology.

Skills

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing small engines is essential. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues quickly and efficiently. Good communication skills to explain technical information clearly to customers. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
