We are currently looking for a Service Engineer to join our team, specialising in small machinery within our Groundcare division. Based at our Reading branch, you'll be joining a knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly team.
Most of the repair and service work will take place in our workshop, where you will service and repair handheld equipment such as chainsaws and strimmers, small pedestrian grass-cutting machinery, and increasingly, automowers and battery-operated equipment. Experience with two-stroke engines would be advantageous, and experience with automowers would be a bonus.
About You
Previous experience in the groundcare industry is desirable, but full product training will be provided. We provide a structured training programme in partnership with Kubota UK, ensuring you can continue to build your skills and stay up to date with the latest developments.
You will ideally have experience working with small engines, including a basic understanding of transmissions and hydraulics. This role may suit someone who has previously worked as a motorbike mechanic or in a similar small-engine, two-stroke environment.

Ability to work on automated and battery-powered machinery - experience with automowers would be an advantage
