We currently have a vacancy for x 3 Small Pack Operatives at our Selby site, who will provide a key link between our customers and our operation. Working as part of a small team, the role would suit a hands-on, enthusiastic team-player who also holds the ability to work with minimal supervision and the willingness to take on tasks outside of your normal work area to help others meet objectives.

This role will be on a shift pattern which includes nights, afternoons, days and weekend work (12hrs), to ensure production demands are met.

The Main Duties of this role include:


Day-to-day operation of the small pack line and associated machinery

Competent operation of the warehouse management system

Transporting product from the packing lines, carrying out positioning checks and pallet wrapping, labelling, storing, FIFO and loading vehicles

Carrying out pick tasks to meet customer orders.

Completion of all required food safety and quality documentation

Carrying out Health & Safety and HACCP checks

Work with the Hygiene teams to ensure an integrated approach to plant hygiene.

Liaise closely with the other packing/warehouse operatives to achieve an efficiently run packing line and warehouse.

Counterbalance & Reach truck Forklift Truck licence

Experience in a similar role in food manufacturingproduction environment.

Good organisational skills

Computer literate

Self-motivated
