If you like a job with variety, this ones got it.Were after a Small Works Engineer who can sort a fault without phoning it in, and install a handful of devices without turning it into a week-long project. Youll be working across the West side of London , ducking in and out of hotels, healthcare sites and private schools . The works solid, the team knows what theyre doing, and youll be left to get on with the job.So, what does the job actually involve?

• Fault-finding and remedial work on fire and/or security systems. Youll be expected to know your way around a panel.
• Installing smaller systems typically 56 devices , not full-blown refits.
• Bit of minor commissioning here and there.
• Some planned maintenance , though most of its reactive.
• Youll manage your own sites and keep decent records (if youre still handwriting dockets, this might not be the place for you).

What were looking for

• Someone whos done servicing and maintenance not just installs.
• You can work on your own without needing to be chased.
• You live within reach of West London / M25 corridor .
• Youre after a full-time role , not short-term hopping.
• You hold a full UK driving licence .

Extra points if youve got:

• Experience on systems like Notifier, Gent, Advanced, Avigilon .
• Both fire and security under your belt (or at least the willingness to cross-train).
• A background in hospitality, healthcare, or education sites .
• A past life as a subbie whos ready for stability.

Whats on the table:

• 336,000339,000 base salary (depending on what you bring).
• Company van (personal use allowed) + fuel card .
• Paid travel time.
• On-call rota is light about 3x per year .
• OT pay : 1.5x evenings/weekends, 2x after midnight or bank holidays.
