We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a passion for customer service, enabling them to provide tailored insurance solutions to clients. As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for analysing clients' needs, marketing insurance products, and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and insurance providers.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance providers to secure the best coverage options for clients.
Manage sales administration tasks, including preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and changes in legislation affecting insurance policies.
Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the policy lifecycle, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
What we are preferably looking For:
Proven experience in an insurance broking firm, ideally with SME commercial clients across general classes
Strong organisational skills and a team-oriented mindset
Excellent relationship-building abilities with clients and colleagues
Familiarity with modern insurance IT platforms (Acturis experience is a plus)
Progress toward professional insurance qualifications is desirable
What we would also consider:
Someone with good experience in the general insurance market Broking or Insurer and looking to move into a commercial SME role.
