At EPAM, we are looking for a skilled

Snowflake Architect / Engineer

to join our on-site team in Geneva. As part of a high-impact data initiative, you will help design, implement and maintain a Snowflake-based platform supporting analytics for trading and risk management.

Responsibilities



Design and implement scalable data architectures using Snowflake Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and reporting Collaborate with business and technology teams to align data design with evolving needs Support data migration and transformation efforts from legacy systems Ensure performance, scalability, governance and security across data assets

Requirements



Proven experience designing and operating Snowflake-based data platforms Hands-on experience with AWS services Proficient in Data Modelling, Data Integration and Data Software Engineering Proficiency in Python and scripting for automation and data engineering tasks Experience with data integration tools and techniques (ETL/ELT) Familiarity with RDBMS systems and migration to cloud environments Understanding of data governance, data quality and security frameworks Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative mindset

Nice to have



Snowflake certification Exposure to commodity trading or financial risk domains Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in data workflows Knowledge of big data ecosystems and related technologies
