The role

As a Senior Project Manager, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary. you will be responsible for the planning, delivery, co-ordination and management of construction and property related projects across the RSME contract, successfully delivering multiple projects focused on company objectives of providing a safe, compliant and productive workplace.
Day to day the role will include provision of a range of construction, property and infrastructure related project management activities to support the company objectives, including skills in planning, business case creation, resource allocation, and budget management
Leadership and expertise in project management to support contract wide projects, including new build, refurbishment, fit-out, alterations, and client driven projects of varied cost and complexity, delivering to pre agreed objectives and targets, in a safe, compliant and efficient manner and in accordance with company policy and all statutory obligations, such as CDM2015

  • Management of RIBA plan of works stages 0-6
  • Organisation, co-ordination and prioritisation of construction / property related projects across the contract
  • Ensure compliance with all established procurement/ contractual / commercial strategies
  • Management of procurement processes relating to construction project management including production of tender and contract documents in conjunction with the QS & procurement team
  • Preparation and management of key stage reports from feasibility through to completion and post evaluation stages, including business cases
  • Responsibility for production of professional project management documentation including detailed management programmes
  • Managing stakeholders across the RSME contract to ensure the project is communicated and managed with all relevant parties.
Essential experience of the Senior Project Manager
  • Extensive technical expertise and experience in a comparable role gained in a similar environment, consultancy, or end user client
  • Minimum three years\' experience in senior project management related discipline demonstrating strong leadership skills
  • Experience in the application of project management practical techniques to enable monitoring and control of multiple programmes and projects
  • Evidence of successful delivery of building services and construction related projects
The role is full time, 37 hours per week with working from home options available. The role will include limited travel approximately once a week on average to our Minley site, travel expenses will be paid and a company car is available for the trip.

Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager
  • Construction project management degree or similar comparable qualification desirable
  • Chartered Membership of relevant industry body such as RICS, CABE, CIBSE or working towards Chartered status desirable
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC Security clearance for this role.
