Are you an experienced leader in children's residential care looking to shape services and influence growth?
We're seeking a
Social Care Consultant / Responsible Individual
to provide strategic oversight and leadership across several small to medium-sized residential childcare organisations.
In this senior role, you'll advise on structure, compliance, and development--helping each organisation achieve excellence, deliver high-quality care, and grow sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and professional guidance across multiple children's residential homes.
Support business owners and Registered Managers to improve service delivery, compliance, and governance.
Ensure full compliance with
Ofsted
,
Children's Homes Regulations 2015
, and
Quality Standards
.
Lead on safeguarding, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive business performance and advise on growth and operational strategy.
Oversee Ofsted inspections, achieving and maintaining
Good
or
Outstanding
outcomes.
Develop staff capability, mentor future leaders, and promote a culture of accountability.
Build effective partnerships with local authorities, Ofsted, and other key stakeholders.
About You
Minimum
3 years' senior leadership or consultancy experience
in children's residential care.
Strong understanding of
Ofsted frameworks
,
safeguarding
, and
care legislation
.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
(or equivalent / working towards).
Proven ability to influence strategic decisions and deliver measurable improvement.
Excellent leadership, communication, and business acumen.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the region.
