Job Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social & Content Specialist to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in growing our social media presence and driving traffic to our website by creating engaging content, including blog posts, social media updates, videos, and infographics, that resonate with our target audience. You'll lead the execution of our social media strategy, manage paid social media campaigns, and analyse performance metrics to achieve our engagement and lead generation goals. You will also assist with our email marketing efforts and be responsible for maintaining website content, ensuring accuracy and consistency. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of digital marketing initiatives, providing valuable experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities



Social Media Management:

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media plan: Create engaging content calendars across core platforms (eg, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn). Align social media strategy with overall marketing objectives. Content Creation & Curation: Produce high quality, engaging content tailored to each platform, including imagery, reels, stories, posts, blog articles, and interactive content (polls, quizzes, Q&As). Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity. Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and DMs promptly and professionally, and foster a positive and thriving online community. Proactively address customer enquiries and feedback. Social Listening & Trend Analysis: Utilise social listening tools to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, competitor activity, and customer sentiment. Identify emerging social media trends and incorporate them into content strategy. Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Paid Social Media Advertising: Plan, execute, and monitor paid social media campaigns to reach target audiences, drive traffic, generate leads, and increase conversions. Analyse campaign performance and optimise for ROI. Influencer Marketing: Identify, evaluate, and collaborate with relevant influencers to expand brand reach and build credibility. Manage influencer relationships and track campaign performance. Reporting & Analytics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, website traffic, conversions, and ROI. Prepare regular reports analysing social media performance, providing actionable insights, and making data-driven recommendations.
Digital Marketing Support:

Email Marketing: Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, integrating social media efforts with email strategy. Website Content Management: Contribute to website content updates and optimisation. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (eg, sales, client services) to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrated marketing efforts. Third Party Liaison: Liaise with external partners, such as design agencies and web agencies, as needed.
Occasional Duties:

To attend any relevant meetings or training courses as requested.

Qualifications



Proven experience in content creation and management, with a strong portfolio of previous work. 3+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media management and content creation. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies that drive engagement and generate leads. Experience managing paid social media campaigns across platforms. Proficiency in using analytics tools (eg GA4, Meta Ads Manager) to track performance and optimise campaigns. Strong content creation skills, including the ability to write engaging copy, create visually appealing graphics, and produce short form video content. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Canva or Figma would be advantageous. Experience of email marketing and database management is desirable.
