The Opportunity





We are seeking a Social First Strategy Accelerator -- a senior strategic leader who will champion, train, and embed Social First principles across Ogilvy EMEA's Strategy community. This role is pivotal in elevating our collective social expertise, supporting high-stakes pitches, and driving adoption of Social Intelligence tools and practices across markets.

Key Responsibilities





Capability Building & Training


Design and deliver Social First training programs for Strategy teams across EMEA markets. Develop toolkits, playbooks, and frameworks that embed Social First thinking into everyday planning. Facilitate workshops, masterclasses, and knowledge-sharing sessions to accelerate skill adoption. Mentor strategists, providing ongoing guidance and feedback to elevate their social expertise.




Strategic Support for Critical Pitches & Projects


Act as a senior strategic partner in high-priority, Social First-led pitches and briefs. Shape winning strategies that integrate social insights, cultural trends, and platform-specific creative thinking. Collaborate with Creative, Media, and Data teams to ensure social strategies are measurable, impactful, and innovative.




Social Intelligence Adoption & Integration


Champion the use of Social Intelligence tools across the Strategy community. Translate social listening and audience insights into actionable strategies and creative opportunities. Establish best practices for integrating Social Intelligence into the briefing, planning, and measurement process.




Thought Leadership & Cultural Fluency


Stay ahead of emerging social trends, platform innovations, and cultural shifts. Share insights and inspiration across the network to spark creative and strategic innovation. Represent Ogilvy EMEA in internal and external forums as a Social First thought leader.



Profile & Experience




7+ years in strategic planning, social strategy, or digital communications within an agency or consultancy. Proven experience in training and capability building within a large, multi-market organization. Deep understanding of social platforms, audience behavior, and content ecosystems. Skilled in social brand planning and integrating traditional strategy with modern social principles. Strong grasp of Social Intelligence tools (e.g., social listening, trend analysis, audience segmentation). Excellent presentation, facilitation, and storytelling skills -- able to inspire and influence at all levels. Comfortable working across cultures and geographies, with occasional travel required.
