About the Role




We're looking for a Social Media Executive with a passion for beauty and makeup to join our social media management team.


This role will be managing the social channels for a recognisable Gen-Z focussed high street beauty brand, therefore we're looking for someone who lives and breathes beauty, and knows what it takes to spark conversation and build engaged Gen-Z communities in the makeup space.


You'll be supported by our Social Senior Account Manager, strategists and creative team, as well as an influencer Senior Account Executive who will brief in influencer content to be utilised across the client's social channels.





Key Responsibilities




Be immersed in the beauty world from product launches and industry events to viral skincare debates and creator-led trends Monitor and identify cultural trends, emerging creators, and viral beauty content across TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat Own the editorial calendar for the brand across these channels including liaising with clients day to day to secure approval on concepts and assets Ideate content ideas and brief our creative team and influencer team to create assets in line with the content calendar Draft compelling, platform-native copy that reflects the brand's voice while engaging our audience Create and edit a consistent stream of lo-fi content yourself, and assist with creating more polished content with the support of our videographer Identify reactive moments that we can activate around, ensuring time-sensitivity Engage authentically with the community by replying to DMs, comments, and UGC in a credible but friendly and inclusive tone. Collaborate with the team to monitor content performance and optimise for engagement and reach.
Produce monthly reports to present to the clients, including a roundup of content, overall performance, breakdowns of performance per platform and format, learnings from top performing content, insights and recommendations for the future




Requirements




A genuine passion for beauty, makeup, skincare, and the ever-evolving landscape of beauty culture online. Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat as storytelling and trend-setting platforms in the beauty space. Strong instincts for tone, aesthetic, and what sparks interaction among Gen Z Confident writing short form copy with accurate spelling and grammar Able to work quickly and collaboratively under tight deadlines. Proficient with or eager to learn tools like Canva, CapCut, and native platform editors. Previous experience working with beauty brands or content is a big plus, whether agency-side or in-house. Due to the nature of social media community management, the role will include 1-2 hours of responding to comments during weekends, however this will be counteracted with equivalent hours being reduced during the week as time back in lieu

1. If you are shortlisted, we will invite you to join a 30 minute virtual call for us to get to know you better and for us to tell you more about the role and agency, and answer any initial questions.



2. If we think you'd be a great fit, we will then invite you to do a task relevant to the role you've applied for, which we wouldn't expect to take more than one hour.

Hybrid working, working from our Shoreditch HQ on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and from home on Mondays and Fridays.



Core Hours of 10:00 - 17:00 with the flexibility to start anytime between 08:00 - 10:00 and finish between 17:00 - 19:00.
