We are seeking a motivated Social Media Intern/ Apprentice to join our dynamic team in the heart of our busy optometry practice. This role is vital in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our community, contributing directly to our mission of delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing social media accounts and creating engaging content. Monitor social media trends and report on performance metrics. Collaborate with the team to develop marketing strategies. Support public relations efforts by crafting press releases and communication materials. Engage with followers and respond to inquiries on social platforms. Help organize community outreach events to promote eye care awareness. Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas. Provide administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment. Basic knowledge of public relations practices is a plus. Passion for healthcare or optometry is preferred. Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
