East Yorkshire Carpets is well established and local leading provider of floor coverings to many of the regions most prestigious house builders, letting agents, construction and maintenance companies.
We require a forward thinking individual to join our existing team. Working from our designated trade and commercial centre, this role would ideally suit a person who is able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
Day to day duties and tasks would include:
Helping with online promotion through social media
Handling e-commerce sales & enquiries thought multiple platforms
Serving trade customers in person and over the phone
Develop product knowledge and promote products
Using our in store system to process orders
Some light warehouse duties
Previous experience of working on a trade counter would be advantageous, as would knowledge of ecommerce platforms. In addition, knowledge of photoshop and graphical design would be advantageous. Prior experience of working within the flooring industry would be beneficial but not required as full product training is provided.
The successful candidate will:
Need to be punctual & hard working
Be IT literate with a great telephone manner
Have a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to task completion
