About the Role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised

Social Media & Community Coordinator

to join our growing team at Green People. You'll be the digital heart of our community helping to nurture relationships with our customers, ambassadors, and influencers across social media and beyond.

This is a key supporting role that touches social media, ambassador partnerships, and online engagement. You'll be our voice in the digital world responding to our customers with warmth, coordinating campaigns with our ambassador family, and helping to grow our brand through conversation, advocacy, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities



Community Engagement & Social Media



Manage daily interactions across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other channels Respond to DMs, comments, and tags with a warm, timely, and on-brand voice Encourage and share user-generated content (UGC) from our customer community Support the planning and execution of engagement campaigns like giveaways, Q&As, and UGC moments

Ambassador & Influencer Coordination



Act as the first point of contact for Green People's ambassadors and micro-influencers Coordinate outreach, onboarding, gifting, and regular communication Research and identify new potential ambassadors and influencers that align with our values Track content performance, activity, and ensure ambassadors feel valued and connected Assist with reporting on ambassador reach and ROI

Community Growth & Advocacy



Spot and nurture superfans or customers who are organically advocating for us Support initiatives that turn happy customers into brand advocates Feed into brand-building moments like early access offers, subscriber perks, or community shoutouts

Customer Reviews & Sentiment



Monitor reviews across key platforms Identify recurring feedback themes or emerging issues to share with the wider team Respond to reviews thoughtfully and constructively, helping turn feedback into positive brand moments Build trust and loyalty through personalised, values-aligned communication with customers

In-Person Support & Events



You will occasionally be required to work in the Green People shop

engaging directly with customers, selling our products in person

, and assisting with

in-store customer engagement or campaign activations.

Attendance at events, festivals, or influencer/ambassador meetups may be required, some of which could take place in the evenings or on weekends

Insights & Reporting



Monitor social sentiment, trends, and common themes in community conversations Report on engagement metrics and suggest improvements to boost connection and visibility Share findings with the wider marketing team to help shape strategy and content

Sustainability & Learning



Stay informed on key topics around organic skincare, sustainability, and ethical beauty Represent our brand values in all communication, and actively take part in sustainability learning

Experience & Skills



1-3 years of experience in a social media, influencer marketing, or community-focused role either in-house or at an agency Proven track record of growing and engaging communities across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Comfortable managing creator or influencer relationships, including outreach, gifting, and content coordination Strong written and verbal communication skills with a natural flair for on-brand storytelling Familiarity with social content trends, particularly TikTok, and the ability to spot and respond to cultural moments Basic design or editing skills using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools are a plus Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple conversations and tasks with calm confidence

What You'll Bring



Strong written communication with a friendly, adaptable tone Experience managing or assisting on social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok A natural connector who loves building relationships and community Bonus: experience with influencer outreach, UGC sourcing, or ambassador campaigns (even if freelance or from university projects)
