The Social Media Consultant is responsible for cultivating and maintaining a strong partnership with customers, both internal and external, promoting superior service in Social Media activity. As part of the Brand & Digital team, this role is responsible for overarching strategy, planning, and execution of deliverables, and other key performance indicators on behalf of our clients. This role acts as a champion for our client brands and carries the unique messages that will positively impact employment brands forward.


Responsibilities

Social media point of contact and subject matter expert to a portfolio of larger accounts Provide thought leadership and information on best practices to clients and internal stakeholders Lead and execute the overall Social Media content strategy for accounts Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content that builds brand reach, experience, and reputation Work with Senior Manager Content to regularly update and enhance clients' social media plans Demonstrate professional communication style while representing the online brand identity of the client Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to support client's critical needs Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules to drive top content performance Copywriting for social media content across all social channels Partners with design team to create rich media content Assist with proofreading content calendars developed by Social Media Specialists and Consultants Lead key areas of social media service offerings, including social media advertising, analytics/reporting, implementation, and reputation management Mentor Social Media Specialists on content writing, reviewing, and reporting Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate data, insights, and best practices Monitor and report on results of social advertising, including trends, opportunities, risk factors and strategic recommendations Educate colleagues and clients on social media trends and updates via presentations and articles Partner with Brand & Digital teams on client activations, campaigns, projects, and toolkits. Work closely with third party vendors to enhance social media offerings and best practices Other duties as assigned

Qualifications



Education:

Bachelor's degree (Business, Communications, Journalism, or relevant field, preferred)
Experience:

3-5 years of experience managing social media business processes is required Paid social media advertising, audience creation, budget allocation, execution, reporting, and optimization experience is required Human Resources, recruitment, or employer brand experience is preferred
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Proficiency with social networking sites (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.) Experience managing responses on employer review sites (e.g. Glassdoor and Indeed) Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills Hands-on experience with social content management systems (CMS) and analytics Ample knowledge of web design/development, SEO, and content marketing best practices Knowledge of online marketing and understanding of major marketing channels Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
