Overview



We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to fulfil a hybrid role as a

social media content creator and general assistant

to join our small but growing team in Leeds, LS10 1QP.

About Us



We are a MINI R53 specialist predominately specialising in the first generation of supercharged MINI. We buy and sell vehicles after they have been through preparation in house, source vehicles and scarce parts for customers, build customer cars to custom specification on build projects; and run a full-time garage working on all makes and models of vehicles.

The Role



This is a hybrid role as a social media content creator and general assistant with e-commerce where you will split your time between:

Creating photography and short-form content

Driving the production of YouTube content including shooting, editing, creative ideas and narrative of the channel with script ideas

Solid editing skills with an eye for what people connect with

Keep up with content trends

Photograph, video and edit stock for advertising

Photograph, list, package car parts for sale on e-commerce platforms such as eBay whilst we grow our YouTube channel.

Requirements



Be able to travel around the UK and to different countries with our team filming content for periods of time at length away from home Have a non-expired passport Hold a full UK and clean driving licence Strong video editing skills using relevant software, for example - DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc Be confident and comfortable in front of the camera partaking in videos yourself Passion for content creation Love of cars Experience using eBay Basic knowledge of car parts.

Other Responsibilities



Support team members in various tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork Maintain a clean and organised workspace Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages Keen interest in vehicle repair and maintenance, including learning about vehicle specifications and modifications Feature on our YouTube channel and all other forms of social media on a regular basis and assist with production and editing of content Assist our parts department with the photography, listing, packaging, postage and all other requirements as needed in relation to our sale of used parts Assist our sales department with the photography, listing, and video production and all other requirements as needed in relation to the sale of stock cars Assist our valeting department with the cleaning and detailing of our stock cars as and when required Keep the workshop and other departmental areas in a good state of tidiness, always adhering to Health and Safety requirements Hardworking and trustworthy Have a great attention to detail Willing to work to best practice standards, always A good team player Able to always work safely and adhere to Health and Safety Can work well under pressure, it will be your initiative that will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way Be able to communicate clearly, effectively, and have great communication skills to speak to team members, customers, stakeholders, suppliers and others Be able to think on your feet. You'll be dealing with all kinds of people and meeting different people every day both in the UK and abroad.

Experience



A solid understanding of mechanical principles will be an advantage Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills Experience in a similar role or industry is beneficial but not essential.
