We're now looking for a
creative and motivated Marketing & Social Media Content Creator
to help us grow our presence, connect with new audiences, and showcase what makes King in the North so special.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for producing
high-quality, engaging, and visually striking content
across all social media platforms, covering our three key areas:
Archery
,
Chess
, and
Community Events
.
You'll also play a key role in marketing campaigns, outreach, and customer communication -- helping to generate leads, drive bookings, and build our online identity.
This is a hands-on, creative role where you'll be trusted to work independently, bring new ideas, and take ownership of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create engaging photo, video, and written content for use across
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
.
Manage and grow our social media presence, posting consistently and responding to engagement.
Develop creative marketing campaigns to promote classes, events, and special offers.
Contact clients and potential partners to market the business and generate new leads.
Capture and edit short-form video content (reels, clips, interviews, event highlights).
Analyse social media insights and performance to improve reach and engagement.
Work independently with initiative and creativity to develop new ideas.
Attend
weekly meetings
to discuss progress, performance, and new opportunities.
Collaborate with coaches and staff to plan content that aligns with the brand's values.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in
social media management and content creation
(examples or portfolio required).
Strong skills in
videography, photography, and editing
(using Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident in front of and behind the camera.
Creative mindset with an understanding of trends, timing, and brand storytelling.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Friendly, professional attitude with strong attention to detail.
Desirable (Not Essential)
Knowledge or interest in
archery, chess, or sports marketing
.
Experience using paid social media ads and analytics tools.
Previous experience in customer communication, community outreach, or event marketing.
