Are you a social media/content expert with your finger on the UK's legal and political pulse?


CrowdJustice, the UK's leading legal crowdfunding platform, is on the hunt for a part-time Social Media Maker/Content Creator who can bring creativity and enthusiasm to our team. This role is an incredible opportunity for students, freelancers, and all creatively-inclined individuals.

What you'll be doing



Create dynamic, engaging content, both short and long form (up to 5 mins), for our social platforms, with an emphasis on video tailored for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with emerging trends and shifts across social media. Use what you learn to shape content that truly connects with our core audiences: lawyers, campaigners, and supporters. Work closely with the wider team to shape and refine our social media direction. Contribute ideas, share inspiration, and help build a strategy that's both creative and cohesive. Monitor how content performs across platforms. Use data to assess impact and share insights that help us fine-tune and improve what we do.

Your goals



Your core mission is to grow and engage our community by crafting stories that captivate, while connecting CrowdJustice to some of the UK's most impactful legal cases funded through the platform.

Your content might:

Boost awareness of our brand, strengthen relationships with existing lawyers and campaigners, and attract new ones to join and use the platform Motivate people to contribute to important legal causes Offer thoughtful commentary on legal, social, or political issues to position CrowdJustice as a thought leader

Not all content needs to do everything, but it must always do something meaningful.

About you



You understand how Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok work and what makes content thrive on each one. You know your way around video production and editing, with experience using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Filmora, or similar. Top level communication skills You care about quality and consistency, and it shows in everything you produce. You're genuinely interested in politics and the legal world, and you're motivated to create content that makes complex issues accessible and compelling for a wider audience.

Nice to have

You've worked in marketing, communications, or a similar field, or you have a personal social media presence that demonstrates your prowess as a content creator. Camera confidence: You're comfortable and willing to talk on camera to connect with an audience naturally and effectively about the amazing stories being created through CrowdJustice in interviews, round-up videos, and more.

In return



This is a flexible, part-time freelance role that can fit your lifestyle. The volume of work will fluctuate depending on what's happening. 30 per hour UK-based within travelling distance of London, with the potential to travel to court dates and campaigner meet ups for in-person content Real creative freedom

2. Video call


We'll invite you to a video call with the team where we'll get to know you, and give you a chance to ask any questions you might have. We can't wait to meet you!


3. Paid work example


We'll send you a CrowdJustice campaign, and you'll have three hours to put together a video. This will be a test of how you convey legal action into some consumable content. All candidates will be paid for the work they provide at this stage of the interview.
