The Social Media Coordinator will support the continued growth of the business by assisting the Social Media Manager in delivering and organising content across all social platforms. Working closely with the wider Content team, the successful candidate will ensure success by delivering the value defined in the job description.

Key Responsibilities





Assist the Social Media Manager with the day-to-day management of organic social platforms, upholding our tone of voice and ensuring our brand values are maintained at all times. Monitor and engage with our community across platforms, fostering positive interactions, responding to comments where appropriate, and escalating feedback internally. Support the scheduling and upkeep of the content calendar, ensuring alignment with campaigns, product drops, and wider trading priorities. Oversee the sourcing of and outreach to a diverse roster of influencers and external creatives, focusing on high-quality, on-brand, and on-trend content; brief in and manage collaborations from start to finish. Collaborate with our creative department and external production teams to brief in social content that is engaging, visually strong, and varied. Independently plan, shoot, and edit in-house content for use across our social platforms. Stay actively aware of platform trends, cultural moments, competitor activity, and emerging content formats - sharing learnings and pitching relevant ideas for content creation. Assist in producing regular social reports, summarising performance trends and learnings to support ongoing improvements. Support the maintenance of social platforms at pre-arranged times outside of standard Monday to Friday working hours. Work cross-functionally with teams such as Ecommerce, Design, and Buying to source content ideas, product details, or insights that enrich our social storytelling. Support the execution of the company's PR strategy, including researching, presenting, and delivering PR and media opportunities both online and offline, with the goal of increasing global brand reach and awareness. Perform additional duties as required.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise





The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for what Disturbia is aiming to achieve as an organisation and the ability to be decisive, open and specific, whilst promoting acceptance, inclusion and respect.

They should be a fast learner and be dynamic in their approach as they will need to react quickly to ever changing environments.

Finally, they will be charismatic and confident, happy interacting with different audiences and peers.



ExperiencePossesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience. Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position. Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Strong experience and understanding of mobile video production for Tiktok / Instagram Reels. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. Maintains excellent writing and language skills. Highly organised and able to communicate effectively with all members of the team. Effectively communicate information and ideas in written and graphic format. Highly professional in both written and verbal communication at all times. Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO and Google Analytics. Proficient with Photoshop.
