About the role
Muc-Off is on the hunt for a Social Media Coordinator to help drive our brand's digital engagement. Reporting to the Communications Director, you'll be scheduling and posting content across all social channels, crafting catchy captions, and sparking conversations that fire up our community. This role requires coordination with marketing, content, design, and leadership teams, demanding high organisational skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships. This is your chance to blend your passion for all things social with the adrenaline-fueled worlds of cycling and powersports.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and post content across all major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and Strava
Write engaging captions that embody the Muc-Off brand and voice
Monitor post interactions and respond promptly to comments to foster community engagement
Monitor inbound brand tags, mentions, collaboration requests from sponsored athletes, teams, influencers and distributors
Track and report on social media performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis
Monitor competitor social activity
Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices
Contribute to the overall marketing and content strategy
Must-haves:
Experience with multi-channel social media management
Excellent copywriting skills
Strong IT skills including social planning and evaluation tools
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a high-energy setting
A proactive and organised approach
Willingness to be the voice of social 7-days-a-week
Desirable:
A degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Good knowledge and understanding of the bicycle and powersports industries on a global basis
Experience of working in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment
