Main purpose of job
The primary focus of the role is to actively contribute to the development, execution, and continuous enhancement of both paid digital media and organic social media strategies across a diverse range of platforms, maximising impactful customer engagement, elevating brand visibility, and driving measurable revenue growth. Involving crafting data-driven campaigns that resonate with target audiences, leveraging platform-specific features to optimise performance, and maintaining a consistent, engaging brand voice across all digital touchpoints.
In addition, the Social Media Digital Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in conducting in-depth research and audits, producing comprehensive insights to better understand audience behaviour, preferences, and emerging trends. This includes monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of current campaigns, analysing the evolving channel landscape, and staying ahead of digital innovations to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement. The role also involves creating and curating high-quality, dynamic content tailored to platforms to strengthen the brand's perception, foster meaningful connections with audiences, and build long-term loyalty. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners will ensure the seamless integration of campaigns, maximising their impact and alignment with overall business objectives.
Specific tasks
Core responsibilities:
Assisting in the creation, coordination, and development of comprehensive monthly and annual plans for online channels and revenue streams across Cameron House and Cameron Lodges
Day to day management of social media channels including scoping, creating, scheduling, monitoring, evaluating content, and connecting / responding to customers via reputation management
Supporting with the paid media strategy working with the digital agency to optimise campaigns via a test and learn approach to improve and drive results, maximise ROI and meet business requirements
Identifying new content or digital opportunities and liaising with key stakeholders as necessary
Reviewing, briefing, communicating and tracking key initiatives and results internally and externally
Analysing KPI's to measure effectiveness of marketing and provide actionable insights
Measuring content and digital success, providing monthly and post-campaign reports and analysis as required that supports forward planning as well as ensuring all deadlines are met
Working with the marketing team and external SEO partners to define and deliver the content strategy to drive organic visibility, traffic, and performance through organic search
Analysing and reporting on marketing data to influence marketing efforts and audience targeting
Keeping on top of consumer trends and maximising opportunities for content creation
Actively participate and attend marketing and digital meetings where required
Using listening and research tools to obtain insight and aid content strategy development
Capturing of resort wide content and editing of photography and videography for utilisation across marketing initiatives
Ensuring brand consistency across all channels
