In summary....
The Social Media Executive helps formulate our social media marketing strategy and manage its execution through a variety of social media platforms. With a focus on expanding our digital audience and engagement through innovative content campaigns and generating leads for event delegates and sponsorship.
Working consistently to best practice standards, the Social Media Executive contributes to new, improved ways of marketing our range of digital and in-person experiences and maintaining a 365-social media strategy to and grow our audience and revenue.
What you'll be doing....
Helping to develop and plan social media strategy across all Global Finance brands
Maintain social media platforms and distribution of content and promotion across Twitter/X, LinkedIn and Instagram
Act as the responsive voice of your brands: monitoring conversations & managing the daily operations for organic social media
Work closely with DCM and CMMs to ensure consistent and dynamic distribution of regular content output and campaign messaging, and ensure seamless integration of social media into overall marketing strategy
Devise new strategies to enhance brand messaging, reach and engagement
Produce digital assets and liaising with designers to maximise their visual appeal
Co-ordinate social media coverage of events (Virtual and Physical), from filming social native videos, live updates, and distribution of content
Identify and research hot industry topics, according to key words and themes, and report back to relevant Digital Content Marketers
Track and report on success of campaigns and adopt a data-driven mindset towards audience building campaigns
Monitor schedules and deadlines during all phases of event campaigns and prioritise to ensure all work is executed effectively and on time
Keep up to date with current digital trends. And incorporating new ideas and our customer insights into content marketing initiatives
Communicate with product, sales, operations, and marketing colleagues to ensure a cohesive and successful team-based approach
Qualifications
------------------
What you need to be successful....
Bachelor's level education or equivalent, specialisation in digital media, journalism, or communications is an advantage but may not be essential depending on other experiences
Strong understanding and experience with social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn
Excellent copywriting skills and eye for design
Strong numeracy and analytical skills with the ability to see and focus on what has the biggest impact on audience growth, revenue and profitability
Have exceptional organisational and time-management skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and ability to demonstrate creativity with impactful results
Great communication skills and ability to work with a diverse range of people
Self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects - often under pressure
