The Role



We're looking for a creative and proactive

Social Media Intern

to join our team for a

6-month paid internship

, with the potential to extend. You'll help manage our multi-platform content strategy, support production and post-production workflows, and bring fresh ideas to engage our community of French learners. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and wants hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and education.

Key Responsibilities



Create engaging, brand-aligned content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Assist in filming and content creation. Edit videos and images using tools like

CapCut Desktop

,

Final Cut Pro X

, and

Canva

. Schedule and publish content using social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Metricool, Instagram Broadcast Channels, Notion etc.) Keep track of multiple content calendars across various accounts and formats. Monitor engagement and respond to audience comments. Track performance metrics (reach, views, engagement, follower growth) and assist with reports. Support seasonal campaigns, marketing campaigns, product launches, and giveaways. Repurpose long-form video into short-form and platform-specific content. Stay up to date with social media trends, editing formats, and audience engagement strategies. Contribute to content brainstorms, trend tracking, and competitor research.

Ideal Candidate



Experience in social media content creation. Familiarity with

CapCut Desktop

,

Final Cut Pro X

, and

Canva

. A

basic understanding of all major social platforms

: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, and YouTube. Can

confidently manage multiple accounts

and keep track of various content formats and publishing schedules. Strong visual sense, creativity, and attention to detail. Clear written communication and organisational skills. Interest in or basic

knowledge of the French language

(fluency not required). Passionate about digital media, language learning, and storytelling.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)



Experience with YouTube backend: playlists, SEO titles, tags, thumbnails. Understanding of algorithmic trends and content performance optimization. Familiarity with educational content, GCSE curriculum, or online course platforms. Prior experience working with influencers, creators, or brands.
