Skin + Me is a mission-driven start-up with seriously big skin goals.


We're looking for an experienced and strategic Social Media Lead to head up our organic social media function across all + Me brands. You'll play a key role in shaping the voice of Skin + Me across our social platforms, driving engagement, growing our community, and ensuring we show up with creativity, relevance, and purpose every day.


This is a hybrid working role with three days a week in our Paddington HQ (Mon,Tues,Fri) and two days remote.

What you'll do:

Own and evolve a platform-specific social strategy that drives organic growth, community connection, and long-term brand equity Use data and insights to continuously optimise content, engagement, and growth strategies Line-manage our team of 2 Social & Content Executives and oversee the broader Community Team Lead the planning and briefing of engaging, social-first content with support from our creative and copy teams Ensure consistent brand tone of voice, messaging, and visual identity across platforms Plan and execute brand-led and reactive social campaigns, including product launches and key calendar moments via collaboration with internal teams across broader brand, performance, and CRM Manage community guidelines and tone, ensuring brand values are upheld at all times Develop and implement a UGC strategy that taps into real customer advocacy and builds pipelines for content featuring real customers Keep up with emerging trends, platform updates, and audience behaviours Support the business in navigating brand reputation issues on social, handling community feedback and escalation with professionalism

Who you are:

You're an experienced Social Media Lead, ideally with a background in a fast-paced DTC, beauty, or wellness brand You back your ideas with data and always look for ways to measure, test, and improve You can balance creativity with commercial impact You live and breathe social media and have an instinctive understanding of platform nuances and trends - especially TikTok, Instagram, and emerging channels You're a team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment and knows how to influence without ego You're comfortable managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, adapting quickly and staying calm under pressure You care deeply about tone, aesthetics, and brand integrity, and know how to translate that into meaningful social presence You're confident managing people, inspiring your team, and helping others do their best work
