About the Role
We're on the lookout for a creative, commercially minded
Social Media Manager
to join the growing team at
Walsh and Partners
. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who understands the power of social media, loves strategy as much as storytelling, and knows how to manage budgets to get the best bang for buck.
You'll work closely with our SEO and content teams to shape and execute multi-platform campaigns for our clients and our own brand. From paid social strategy to organic content planning, community engagement and reporting--you'll be the engine behind our online presence.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel social media campaigns (paid and organic)
Manage and allocate social media budgets with a strong eye on ROI
Develop content calendars aligned with broader SEO and digital strategies
Create and brief engaging content (static, video, stories, etc.) that drives interaction
Analyse performance data and create clear, actionable reports
Identify trends, tools, and platform updates, keeping
Walsh and Partners
ahead of the curve
Build and maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and our online community
Work closely with the SEO, content and design teams to ensure brand consistency
Manage social media accounts for both
Walsh and Partners
and selected clients
Attend twice-monthly team days in Cardiff and occasional client meetings as needed
Must-Haves
At least 2 years' experience managing social media accounts for brands or agencies
Proven experience managing and optimising social media budgets (especially Meta and LinkedIn)
Strong understanding of performance metrics, analytics tools, and paid ad platforms
Excellent copywriting skills with a clear, confident tone
A keen eye for visuals and understanding of what content performs
Organised, self-motivated, and happy juggling multiple projects
Comfortable using scheduling tools like Buffer, Later, or Hootsuite
Creative, commercial, and ready to make an impact
Nice-to-Haves
Basic Canva or Adobe skills
Experience in the SEO or digital marketing space
Familiarity with TikTok trends and short-form video editing
Confidence in presenting results or ideas to clients
