Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly organised Social Media & Events Manager to oversee Tabitha's Coffee's online presence and help build an engaged community around our brand. The ideal candidate will develop content strategies, plan and execute events, and ensure consistent, on-brand communication across all platforms.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about digital marketing, storytelling, hospitality, and community building. You will play a key role in shaping how customers discover and experience Tabitha's.

Key Responsibilities



Social Media Management

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with our brand and business goals. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms (primarily TikTok and Instagram; additional platforms optional). Film and edit short-form videos capturing behind-the-scenes moments, product launches, daily shop life, and customer interactions. Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and foster positive community engagement. Analyse performance metrics and use insights to improve content effectiveness and reach. Maintain consistent brand messaging in coordination with the owners and wider team. Stay informed on current social media trends, audio trends, platform updates, and digital marketing tools. Manage relationships with influencers, creators, and collaboration partners.
Events and Public Relations

Plan and coordinate in-store events including product launches, influencer previews, fitness collaborations, and community pop-ups. Oversee event logistics, invitations, RSVPs, promotions, signage, props, and on-the-day coordination. Ensure events are content-rich and align with our visual and brand identity. Capture event content and create post-event recaps for social media. Support the overall brand reputation by addressing public relations matters proactively and professionally.

Skills and Experience



Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation roles. Strong understanding of branding and public relations principles. Excellent written communication skills with an ability to craft compelling captions and stories. Confident using TikTok, Instagram, and editing tools (CapCut, Reels, or similar). Ability to analyse data and refine strategy based on performance insights. Highly organised with strong time-management skills; able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines. Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with current social media algorithms, optimisation techniques, and engagement best practices. Photography or event planning experience is desirable

Preferred:



Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or food and beverage industries. Photography or event planning experience.
