Role: Social Media Manager

Location: Hybrid / Leatherhead/Kingston, England (x2 days required onsite per week)

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Social Media Manager will be managing the social conversations of some of the world\'s leading brands across the Beauty & Wellbeing category. Driving social media success across brands as well as hunting out \xe2\x80\x9cgolden nugget\xe2\x80\x9d opportunities for content creation and social engagement that\'ll make these brands shine on social. This opportunity is perfect for a talented and experienced individual who can translate brand personality into conversations on social media, understands how to best leverage social\'s unique strengths, and sees the bigger picture for a brand\'s presence online.

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

You are on top of the latest developments in social, you know what is happening behind the social media feed and know the latest reels trend and why it matters. You instinctively write in Twitter\'s character limit. You know what\'s going down in the DMs. In short, you\'re a social media GOAT-an idea generating, trend identifying, wordsmithing, conversational powerhouse who loves getting down in the trenches and at the front line of audience interaction and content creation.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

You will be joining an on-site agency team who are super passionate about best-in-class social and creative. You\'ll work closely with digital specialists, brand managers and customer service partners and will report into Beauty & Wellbeing\'s Senior Social Media Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

Across no more than 3 brands you will be responsible for driving best in class social media management and involved in;

Listening and Engagement

  • Listen and respond to relevant consumer comments and question
  • Provide on-brand responses to influencer and consumer @mentions
  • Identify opportunities for the brand to surprise and delight its audience
  • Manage and nurture a network of brand advocates (or our \'Brand 100\'), identifying key engagement opportunities in organic planning
Content
  • Monitor feeds for relevant opportunities to inject the brand into culture
  • Create and/or edit content for TikTok/Instagram channels when required
  • Spot new influencer opportunities and keep on top of UGC
  • Track trending topics
  • Curate content calendars and write copy for organic posts and paid/dark content if needed
  • Champion platform best practice across all content developed for your brand - ensuring content is platform native
  • Create and manage content briefs for creators/influencers/in-house designer and constructively feed back on the content to ensure it meets the brief and brand needs.
Planning and client partnership
  • Receive and interrogate briefs from clients and supporting in brief development to creative teams and other partners
  • Help to craft Tone of Voice guidance for FAQ and copy for brand\'s social channels
  • Support in development in social channel strategy workstreams
  • Content and campaign ideation, optimisation and planning
  • Present content ideas and brand social strategy to clients
WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL
  • This job is best suited to an individual with at least 2 years of experience working in an agency or client side on brand marketing through social media.
  • Level-headed, strategic thinker who\'s meticulous in their way of working
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive - ability to spot opportunities to create content and help clients achieve their business ambitions
  • Creative flair and excellent written communications skills and great copywriting
  • Nuanced and thorough knowledge of social platforms - and how brands can best leverage them to achieve commercial results
  • Keen interest in digital trends and popular culture
What experience will help you be successful
  • Worked in FMCG and have a passion for beauty and wellbeing
  • Stakeholder management, including internal, cross-department, clients
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proven experience of creating content for social media (TikTok beneficial) with an interest in the latest trends (I.e., social commerce)
  • Worked with social media management and listening tools e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr
  • Understanding of paid media and the role of influencers
  • Experience working with content creators, videographers, photographers and design teams
  • Previous experience working exposed to strategy and client-management roles
