Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced
Social Media Manager
to take full ownership of our brand's presence across all social media channels. Based at our Leicester head office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital voice of Oodles Wok, driving customer engagement, supporting franchise marketing efforts, and contributing to our exciting growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives and brand positioning.
Create and schedule high-quality content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
Manage paid social campaigns with a particular focus on META (Facebook/Instagram) Ads - planning, execution, and performance analysis.
Collaborate closely with the design and content teams to produce creative assets that resonate with our target audience.
Act as a liaison between the brand and our franchisees to support local store marketing and promotions.
Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers in a timely and brand-consistent tone.
Analyse performance metrics and provide regular reports with insights and optimisations.
Stay up to date on social media trends, QSR industry movements, and competitive activity.
Assist in influencer and partnership collaborations to amplify brand reach and engagement.
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the food, QSR, or franchise sectors.
Strong understanding of the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and food industry trends.
High-level understanding and hands-on experience with META Ads Manager - including audience segmentation, retargeting, budgeting, and A/B testing.
Proficiency in using social media management tools
Strong copywriting skills with attention to tone, grammar, and brand voice.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Data-driven approach to testing, learning, and optimising campaigns.
Desirable Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Experience with franchise marketing support and communications.
Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
