Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our social media efforts align with overall marketing objectives and public relations initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including graphics, videos, and written posts. Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities. Collaborate with the public relations team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies. Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner. Coordinate with other departments to support promotional activities and events through social media.

Experience

Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential. Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to social media. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to create compelling content tailored to different platforms and audiences. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics software. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
