We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a keen understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Duties
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to comments and messages.
Collaborate with the public relations team to ensure brand consistency and alignment in messaging across all channels.
Analyse social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns; prepare reports and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies; adapt strategies as necessary to remain competitive in the digital landscape.
Manage relationships with influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility and reach.
Experience
Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential.
Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends.
