We are Southend based digital marketing agency currently rebranding to Reload Agency. As part of this rebrand, we are launching a dedicated arm called Reload Motorsport, reflecting our new strategic focus on the motorsport industry.

We are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Manager to oversee content and media activity across race weekends and during the off-season. The role combines social media management and creative content production. In addition to managing motorsport-related channels, the successful candidate will also handle ongoing social media management for 5-6 corporate clients, creating and scheduling 2-3 posts per week per client during standard working hours (Mon-Fri).

The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced motorsport environment, liaising with drivers, teams, venues, and media outlets, while also managing multiple corporate brand accounts. This dual focus requires exceptional organisational skills, creativity, and attention to detail in producing engaging, timely, and professional content across digital platforms.

Key Skills & Competencies



Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) Basic video editing and storytelling skills for short-form content Ability to design and adapt social media graphics using pre-existing templates and brand guidelines. Skilled in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Experience with live event coverage and delivering high-volume, real-time social content. Strong copywriting skills for social captions. Confident liaising with drivers, teams, venues, and stakeholders. Experienced in briefing content teams and managing external contributors. Comfortable coordinating shoots, interviews under tight deadlines. Knowledge of motorsport and its media landscape. Ability to juggle multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously, balancing event-driven content with scheduled corporate client activity.
We require someone who can commit to working five days a week in the office, with additional race weekends during the racing season. On weeks that include a race weekend, you will receive a rest day during the following week to balance your schedule. If this sounds suitable, we'd love to arrange a meeting to discuss further.

Roles/Responsibilities



Pre-Race Weekend

Create and schedule social media content across all platforms. Produce content briefs for videographers, including example reels, scripts, and content ideas. (e.g. pitlane questions/funny content) Research and prepare YouTube content plans (interview questions, trivia, filming logistics). Edit and adapt social media graphic templates for birthdays, timetables, and event announcements. Manage YouTube uploads and metadata (titles, descriptions, tags).

Race Weekend

Organise and oversee filming of 'preview' video (e.g. with drivers or personnel) Edit and deliver preview videos for release. Coordinate and support YouTube shoots. (e.g. liaising with drivers) Create interactive social content (polls, Q&As, Instagram Stories). Conduct driver interviews post-qualifying and post-race. Edit and publish post-race interviews and feature content. Support videographers with additional interviews or features. Write and publish approx. 30-40 social media posts across the weekend.

Post-Race Weekend

Edit and publish Onboards and feature videos for YouTube (longform). Manage both long-form and short-form YouTube uploads.

Off-Season & Other Duties

Assist with media day and season launch organisation. Support off-season content creation. Support content and social posting for driver announcements and livery reveals. Cover off-season events across digital platforms. Contribute to strategic planning for upcoming race seasons.

Corporate Client Management (Ongoing, Mon-Fri)

Oversee social media activity for 5-6 corporate clients across various sectors Create, schedule, and publish approx. 2-3 posts per week per client, ensuring content is consistent with brand guidelines Develop and adapt graphics, copy, and campaigns tailored to each client's audience Monitor engagement and report on client performance across platforms
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
