Social Media Manager

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Media specialist to shape how patients and the public engage with healthcare online. In this hybrid role, you will lead content strategy across platforms, build community through compelling storytelling, and collaborate with influencers, creators, and patients to grow brand engagement.


Role Description



Work with the wider marketing team to develop and create digital content strategies aligned with campaign objectives across multiple platforms Identify and manage external influencers, collaborators and key opinion leaders for social content and podcast episodes Monitor and engage with audience comments to drive consideration, conversions and foster brand affinity, systematically feeding back consumer sentiment Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in social media algorithms. Oversee and actively manage collaboration with the patient support team to address and resolve social media enquiries from existing and prospective patients. Align regularly with the wider team on industry events, news, and updates for patient-facing communications. Oversee online reviews and ensure timely responses.

Skills, Experience, and Qualification:



5+ years of experience of building engagement across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram ,TikTok and podcasts. Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and style, with the ability to adapt messaging to suit different audiences, platforms, and objectives. Ability to analyse social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly. Excellent writing ability for crafting compelling and consistent messaging across all digital content and platforms. Strong proficiency in managing and responding to public and private enquiries via social media platforms. Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines. Advanced understanding of social media algorithms, particularly around restricted content Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong communication skills and negotiation skills Working in a healthcare environment is advantageous but not essential. Hybrid role Must be available to work one Saturday per month (with a weekday off in lieu) to provide cover for social media comments and direct messages.

Compensation Range: 50K - 60K
