We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING ASSISTANT & Administrative Assistant to support our team in various marketing and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong social media, marketing, SEO and computer skills, including proficiency in Wordpress, Social Media Platforms, Canva, Google Suite and QuickBooks, and will be responsible for designing promotional campaigns, social media posts, marketing calls and ensuring smooth office operations. This role requires excellent marketing acumen, phone etiquette and clerical skills to manage communications effectively.
Duties
Manage Website and Social Media Platforms
Design Promotional Campaigns
Design and Execute SEO strategies
Assist in generating new business leads and sponsorships
Assist in Promoting and Marketing the Business
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Manage office correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
Maintain organised filing systems for documents and records.
Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.
Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and schedules for team members.
Provide general administrative support to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Handle clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate communication and workflow.
Requirements
Proven experience in a marketing, social media and administrative role is preferred.
Proficiency in SEO.
Proficiency in CANVA.
Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated phone etiquette when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
